Ghana’s all time goalscorer, Asamoah Gyan has encoyraged former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad to strive to achieve greatness in his career.
Danlad Ibrahim spent eight years at the camp of Asante Kotoko and at a point in time was the captain of the club.
However, his stay with Ghana’s powerhouse came to an end last season after losing his position to Frederick Asare and other goalkeepers in the pecking order.
In an interview on Wontumi Radio, the former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan in the presence of Danlad Ibrahim expressed his confidence in his goalkeeping abilities and urged him to achieve more.
“It’s clear to everyone that your form declined since you returned from the World Cup,” Gyan said. “Remember all the things that helped you to be successful during your loan spells and becoming the number one at Asante Kotoko. You are still young, and you can achieve more than you have over the years. The sky is your limit.” he said.
Danlad Ibrahim is in talks with MTN FA Cup winners Nsoatreman Football Club and will join them soon if all parties agree on terms.
