Black Stars captain, Thomas Teye Partey has requested for better stadiums in the country for better performances.
He made this request on behalf of the players during the visit of the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to the team’s camp in Kumasi.
Ghana will lock horns with the Central African Republic tonight in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
Expressing his gratitude ti the Vice President for visiting the team, Partey made a request for better stadiums in the country for the development of sports.
“We want to say thank you for coming and we really appreciate it. It means a lot to us. I have one request and from the players, we are asking for good stadiums because we want to play better football and so give us a better stadium.” He said.
Ghana are currently third in Group I with 6 points while the Central African Republic are fifth with 4 points. A win for the Black Stars will cushion them in a good spot for the rest of the qualifying games.
