France National Team Coach, Didier Deschamps has fired back at critics who have labelled his team’s playing style at the Euros as “boring.”
Deschamps seems not bothered about by the “boring” tag and criticism.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, he said: “If you are bored, watch another game.”
“You don’t have to watch us, it’s fine,” he added.
With all the talent available, France have failed to impress so far despite being tipped as one of the favorites to win the tournament before its commencement. Sparking widespread criticism and concern over Deschamp’s approach to games.

France won their group stage opener against Austria via a 38th minute own goal by Maximilian Wöber. Likewise, their round of 16 one-nil win over Belgium – own goal by Jan Vertonghen in the 85th minute.
It was a Kylian Mbappe penalty that earned them a point in their last group game against Poland, after a goalless draw against Netherlands.
A 5-3 quarter finals penalty shootout victory over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal have set Deschamp’s team for a semi-final battle against the current tournament favorites Spain.
