Majority Shareholder of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV has revealed the leadership of the club is committed in bringing quality players to the club.
The Executive Board Chairman said this during the handing over of the club’s Phobia House which will serve as a secretariat and commercial center for the club.
Accra Hearts of Oak have not been performing well consistently in the last two seasons but Togbe Afede have assured that the management and board of the club want to assemble the best of players for good results.
“Management is committed, the board is committed to assembling the best squad possible. Sometimes it takes time because some constraints are beyond your control,” he said.
“You may want a player who is not available…to ensure that professional-wise, we are solid, management-wise we are solid, in terms of players, we are solid.
“We are happy that we are building strengths across all the sectors of football,” he added.
Hearts of Oak escaped relegation on the final day of last season’s Ghana Premier League and finished 14th on the log.
