Thomas Partey Hails Team Spirit After Arsenal's Leicester Win

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has praised the team’s collective strength following their crucial victory against Leicester City in the Premier League.

In a Facebook post, the Ghanaian midfielder acknowledged his own performance wasn’t at its peak, stating, “On days when I’m not at my best, the strength of the team carries us to victory. Vamoooosss.”

Partey started the match but was replaced by Jorginho in the 76th minute. The game remained tight until the latter stages when Spanish international Mikel Merino broke the deadlock in the 81st minute.

Merino then sealed the win with a second goal in the 87th minute, securing three vital points for the Gunners. Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew also featured for Leicester in the match.

The win maintains Arsenal’s strong position in the league, currently sitting second with 52 points from 25 games. They trail league leaders Liverpool by just four points. Arsenal’s next league challenge is a home game against West Ham at the Emirates Stadium on February 22.

Thomas Partey has been a key figure for Arsenal this season, making 24 appearances in the Premier League.  He has contributed both defensively and offensively, scoring three goals and providing two assists. His presence in midfield has provided stability and creativity for the Gunners.

The Gunners will be hoping to continue their momentum as they push for a strong finish to the season.
