Samuel Owusu joins OFK Beograd

Ghanaian winger Samuel Owusu has completed his move to Serbian side OFK Beograd.

The 28-year-old has returned to Europe to ply his trade after his short stint with Saudi Arabian side,  NEOM Sporting Club.

Samuel Owusu is not a new face to the Serbian Superliga after having spell with other Serbian sides like Radnik Nis and FK Cukaricki. Due to his already acquired experience in the Serbian Superliga, Samuel Owusu is expected to aid OFK Beograd to perform better in the 2024/2025 season.

Samuel Owusu started plying his trade in Europe at Radnik Nis after leaving Vision Football Club. From there, he joined Turkish side, Genclerbirligi in 2016 before coming back to Serbia to play for FK Cukaricki.  He has also featured for Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Fahya and Al-Ahli.

Samuel Owusu has 17 caps for the Black of Stars of Ghana. He has scored once and assisted once. His move to OFK Beograd may be bring him back to the set-up of the Black Stars.
