FC Samartex 1996 have been crowned the champions of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League.
This marks their first-ever Premier League title and comes in just their second season in the top flight of Ghanaian football.
Samartex dominated the season, finishing at the top of the league table with a commanding 61 points. Their championship dreams were realized with a convincing 2-0 victory over Accra Lions at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
Samartex have been the surprise package in the Ghana Premier League this season as many football pundits and fans didn’t believe the Samreaboi- based club could be champions of the league.
