Saka Makes History With Strike Against Switzerland

Bukayo Saka has become the first Arsenal player to score for England at both the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euros.

Saka’s superb equalizing strike against Switzerland finally etched his name in the history books. His first goal at the European Championship in Germany this year.

The Arsenal forward has already scored three goals at the FIFA World Cup – all three at the 2022 mundial in Qatar.

He scored twice in a 6–2 victory over Iran in England’s opening match at the tournament and once in England’s 3–0 defeat of Senegal in the round of 16.

The 22-year old star has recorded 21 goals and 15 assists for club and country so far this season.

Saka also buried his penalty in the shootout after the game ended one-all in regulation time.

England defeated Switzerland 5-3 on penalties to set up a semi-final battle between the winner of the last quarter finals match up between Netherlands and Turkey tonight.
