Paris Saint-Germain has initiated discussions with Manchester United regarding the potential signing of English forward Jadon Sancho. The 24-year-old was recently played as a number 9 by United manager Erik ten Hag in a friendly against Liverpool, following an injury to Rasmus Hojlund.
Despite struggling to make a significant impact in that position, Ten Hag believes Sancho has the potential to adapt and could feature him in the same role against Manchester City in the Community Shield this Saturday.

Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after a falling out with Ten Hag, but the two have since resolved their differences.
However, Sancho’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, especially with PSG expressing interest. Negotiations between the clubs have included discussions about a potential deal, and personal terms for Sancho are not expected to be an issue.
Additionally, Manchester United is keen on signing PSG’s Uruguay international midfielder Manuel Ugarte, which has kept the dialogue open between the clubs. A swap deal has been speculated, but the financial terms and valuations of the players involved remain points of contention.
