Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Ogum has attributed the team’s loss to Accra Great Olympics to inability to score.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 to Olympics in match day 32 of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Kwame Kyei sports complex. The win was crucial for the survival of Accra Great Olympics.

Speaking after the game, Kotoko’s gaffer explained his team could have won the game in the first half.

“Our inability to connect the chances we had especially in the first half, we had so many chances that we could have scored including the penalty,” he told StarTimes in a post-match interview.

“In the first half, they left so many spaces behind them on the right side and the left side and we utilize them well but then it was all about the final ball into the net or the last but one pass to somebody score.”

When they scored, it brought some pressure on us because we had to come from behind but then i think it was all about our inability to score.” He added.

Kotoko will play their next league game against Real Tamale United in Tamale.
