The Black Stars of Ghana ramped up their preparations for the upcoming match against Angola in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers with a second training session on Tuesday.
The national team gathered in Accra on Monday, where they held their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, which saw only 10 players participating.
However, the squad has since expanded, with 22 players taking part in Tuesday’s session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The increase in numbers reflects the team’s commitment to getting ready for the crucial qualifier.
Head coach Otto Addo and his technical team will conduct another training session on Wednesday as they finalise their preparations for the match scheduled for Thursday, September 5, at 4 PM.

The Black Stars are eager to start their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on a positive note, aiming for a victory against Angola.
After the match, Ghana will travel to Berkane, Morocco, to face Niger in their second Group F game on September 9.
The team is focused and determined, with fans hoping for a strong performance to kick off their AFCON qualifiers successfully.
