Otto Addo optimistic of win against Mali

Head Coach for the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo is confident the Black Stars have what it takes to beat Mali in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Ghana is currently fifth in Group I with just three points while Mali are second on the log with four points; making the game a must win for both sides.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Otto Addo, the former Black Stars player who is currently the gaffer for the four-time African champions revealed his players are in good shape mentally to take on the Eagles of Mali.

“Surely, I think we are ready for the game. I am very satisfied with how the players understood how we want to play.” He said.

However, he says the game against Mali will be a difficult one due to the quality they possess. He added that Ghana will get all three points at the end of the game.

“This is going to be a tough match away in Mali but we also have the quality to compete against them although we didn’t have a good AFCON. We have the players to get three points from Mali.” He added.

The game will take place at the  Stade du 26-Mars in Bamako at 19:00 GMT.
