Ghana Black Stars legend, Asamoah Gyan says Ghana coach Otto Addo needs time to start winning trophies for Ghana.
Otto Addo, who is already in his second stint as Black Stars head coach beat Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana have been placed in Group F of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers. Asamoah Gyan has asked Ghanaians to lower their expectations of the team and give Otto Addo more time to build the team.
“Ghanaians should limit their expectations of the Black Stars. The players are young, we should allow the coach to build the team, let’s say five years to develop the team. After that, then we can expect them to win trophies.” He told Pure FM.
Ghana will play the AFCON 2025 qualifiers in September this year.
