Ghana Black Stars winger, Osman Bukari says his performance in the Belgrade Derby is what convinced Austin FC to approach him.
The player joined Major League Soccer side Austin FC from Serbia giants Red Star Belgrade after an impressive run of performances over his stay.
Speaking to Austin FC media, Bukari revealed that the pivotal moment for his move was when he performed well against Partizan Belgrade in a derby.
“I think in Belgrade there is the derby game against Partizan and I think that game is tough,” he said
“I think there was a game we won 3-2 (over Partizan) I gave an assist and I won a penalty for them, I think that game he watched it and saw that I have something to give on the pitch that’s why he tried to bring me here.” He added.
