GPL: Great Olympics Optimistic of League Survival

Head Coach of Accra Great Olympics Orlando Wellington

Head Coach of Accra Great Olympics, Orlando Wellington is confident his side will survive in the Ghana Premier League this season.

Great Olympics recorded a 1-0 victory over Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match week 32 of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Kwame Kyei sports complex.

Despite the win, the “Oly Dade” Boys still find themselves in the relegation zone with just 39 points and currently occupying the 16th position.

However, the team have an outstanding game against Dreams FC. Speaking after the game against the Porcupine Warriors, Orlando Wellington says Olympics will survive.

“There’s a way for us to escape relegation and that’s what we are fighting for. I am very happy that we collected the three points here in Kumasi.” He said.

Great Olympics will take on against Accra Hearts of Oak in match week 33 of the Ghana Premier League.
