Olympic Games: Joselle Mensah fails to qualify for semis after finishing 4th in Women’s 50M swimming freestyle

Ghanaian swimmer, Joselle Mensah has finished fourth in the women’s 50m freestyle event in the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.

Making her debut at the global prestigious sporting event, Joselle competed in the Heat 6 freestyle swimming and finished fourth with a time of 26.81s

Joselle Mensah won’t make the semis of the Women’s 50m   as her time of 26.81s places her outside the top 16.

Ranked as the highest female athlete in Ghana by World Aquatics, the young swimmer qualified to the prestigious sports event through a wild card.

During the African Games staged in Ghana, Joselle clocked a time of 26.52 seconds in the Women’s 50m freestyle event. Her time in the African Games was good to book her spot in the Olympics.
