Ghanaian swimmer, Harry Stacey has finished seventh in the men’s 100m freestlye swimming event in the ongoing Olympic Games.
Making his debut at the global prestigious sporting event, Harry competed in the Heat 4 freestyle swimming and was in lane 6 of the heat.
He finished seventh with a time of 51.12s; a time below his personal best.
His position and time is unlikely to qualify the Ghanaian to the semi finals of the event. Harry Stacey’s personal best is 50.57s, achieved at the Africa Aquatics Swimming Championship.
Joselle Mensah is up next for Ghana in the Women’s 50 m freestyle event which will take place on 3rd August 2024.
