Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has completed his transfer from Leicester City to Chelsea, joining Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder has committed to a five-year contract with the Blues, which includes an option for an additional year, and will integrate with his new teammates for pre-season training.
Chelsea announced on Tuesday that Dewsbury-Hall is their latest signing, following an outstanding season with Leicester where he was honored as the club’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season, contributing significantly to their Championship title win.

Reflecting on his move, Dewsbury-Hall expressed his excitement, saying, “It is amazing to be sitting here as a Chelsea player. This is a club people grow up watching and hoping to one day play for, so it is a privilege to be here. I’m really excited to get going and can’t wait to show everybody what I can do.” Having joined Leicester at the age of eight, he made his senior debut in an FA Cup tie against Brentford in January 2020.
After a productive loan spell with Blackpool, where he scored four goals in ten appearances, Dewsbury-Hall became a key player for Leicester, making 44 appearances in the 2021/22 season and earning a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League Team of the Season for his role in helping the Foxes reach the semi-finals.
