Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has addressed the club’s recent struggles, expressing confidence that the issues will be resolved before the 2024/25 season kicks off.
The Phobians narrowly escaped relegation last season with a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Bechem United on the final day of the Ghana Premier League.
Recently, they suffered a 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the inaugural Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium, marking their third consecutive loss to the Porcupine Warriors.
Despite these setbacks, Nyaho-Tamakloe reassured fans that the club is committed to addressing its challenges.
“We have a problem at the moment, but that problem will come to an end before the start of the 2024/25 league season,” he told Joy Sports.

He further expressed his confidence in coach Aboubakar Ouattara emphasising his ability to get things working again at Hearts of Oak.
“My confidence is based on the fact that we have a coach who we believe can bring stability, select the best players, and provide them with the training they need.”
Nyaho-Tamakloe’s optimism is centered on the capabilities of head coach Aboubakar Ouattara, who is expected to lead the team through a crucial period of rebuilding and strengthening.
