Norwich City signs Forson Amankwah

English Championship side, Norwich City have signed young Ghanaian talent, Forson Amankwah from RB Salzburg.

The 21-year-old has joined Norwich City on a four-year-deal as confirmed by the official website of the club.

The former West African Football Academy player made his senior professional debut in the 2019/20 season of the Ghana Premier League against Karela United.

He later joined Austrian Bundesliga side RB Salzburg before he was sent out on loan to Liefering in the Austrian Second League.While on loan, he made a total of 29 apps and scored a six goals with eight assists.

In June 2022, he made his return to the Austrian Bundesliga, but made another  loan move to Rheindorf Altach

.

 

Forson returned from his loan and began playing for RB Salzburg, while at the club he scored two goals in two games in the Ă–FB Cup. In the league, he played 23 games where he scored two goals and had two assists.

Forson Amankwah has two caps for the caps for the Black Stars of Ghana and will wear the number 18 shirt for Norwich.
