Nkunku netted a hat-trick as Chelsea secured a comfortable 5-0 victory over League Two side Barrow, advancing to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at Stamford Bridge.
Nkunku opened the scoring in the eighth minute, finishing coolly after receiving a chipped pass from Joao Felix.
The French forward doubled his tally with a clever flick to convert Malo Gusto’s low cross before Felix’s free-kick struck the post and rebounded in off Barrow goalkeeper Paul Farman, giving Chelsea a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Two minutes into the second half, Pedro Neto tapped in his first goal for Chelsea, finishing Mykhailo Mudryk’s cross. Nkunku then completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute, capitalizing on a misplaced pass by Barrow’s goalkeeper Farman and slotting the ball into an empty net.
With this treble, Nkunku now boasts six goals in eight appearances for the Blues this season. The 26-year-old was making his first start for Chelsea since their opening-day defeat to Manchester City last month.
