Nicolas Jackson netted a brace as Chelsea eased to a 3-0 win over West Ham, handing the Hammers their third consecutive home defeat in the Premier League.
Chelsea took an early lead just four minutes in after a quick free-kick caught West Ham’s defence napping. Jadon Sancho slipped Jackson through on the left, and the Senegalese striker burst past Edson Alvarez before slotting a low shot through the legs of Alphonse Areola.
The Hammers’ defensive frailties were exposed again 14 minutes later. Moises Caicedo had time to find Jackson, who outpaced Max Kilman and finished deftly with the outside of his boot, leaving Areola stranded.
Chelsea sealed the result just after half-time, with Nicolas Jackson turning provider. After a swift counter-attack, the forward played a clever reverse pass to Cole Palmer, who blasted the ball past Areola to make it 3-0.

West Ham were left frustrated as a VAR check denied them a penalty following a tussle between Crysencio Summerville and Wesley Fofana. Mohammed Kudus also had a goal ruled out for offside, while Jarrod Bowen forced a good save from Robert Sanchez.
Chelsea’s win moves them within two points of league leaders Liverpool, while West Ham sit just three points above the relegation zone.
