National Amputee Team honoured at Ghana Football Awards

The Ghana Amputee Football Team, fondly known as the Black Challenge, received a prestigious honor from the Ghana Football Awards for their outstanding feat in successfully defending their AFCON title in Egypt.

On Saturday, June 29th, the Accra International Conference Center hosted a prestigious ceremony where the special awards were presented, honoring outstanding achievements in the football community.
The team’s phenomenal displays throughout the tournament captured the attention of fans and critics alike, earning them widespread acclaim and recognition.

The Black Challenge dominated the competition, winning all their group matches and then edging out Morocco 2-1 in a thrilling final to successfully defend their title.


Since their triumphant return, the team has been inundated with an outpouring of support and congratulations from both the state and individual fans, basking in the joy of their well-deserved accolades.
