Mavericks Avoid Sweep, Dominate Celtics 122-84 in NBA Finals

Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a decisive 122-84 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday, forcing a Game 5 in the NBA Finals. Doncic scored 25 of his 29 points in the first half, and Kyrie Irving added 21 as the Mavericks snapped the Celtics’ 10-game playoff winning streak.
The Mavericks dominated every aspect of the game, holding the Celtics to 36.2% shooting and outrebounding them 52-31. Doncic, criticized for his defense in Game 3, was a force on both ends of the court, and his teammates followed suit.
“We’re going to believe until the end,” Doncic said. “I have big belief in this team that we can do it, so we’ve just got to keep believing.”
The Mavericks will try to become the first team to overcome a 3-0 deficit in the NBA playoffs, while the Celtics aim to capture their 18th title. Game 5 is on Monday in Boston.
