Olympique Lyonnais has secured the services of Ivorian winger Wilfried Zaha from Galatasaray on a loan deal for the 2024-2025 season.
The Turkish club confirmed that Lyon will pay a €3 million temporary transfer fee for the 31-year-old. Zaha initially joined Galatasaray in July 2023 on a three-year contract after leaving Crystal Palace as a free agent.

Despite scoring 10 goals in all competitions for Galatasaray, Zaha fell out of favor towards the end of the season, featuring in only two friendlies for Ivory Coast and missing out on their Africa Cup of Nations squad.
Zaha’s move to Lyon offers him a fresh opportunity to reignite his career in one of Europe’s top leagues.
This shows Lyon’s ambition to strengthen their squad with experienced talent as they aim for success in domestic and European competitions. Zaha’s pace and creativity on the wing will be crucial assets for Lyon as they navigate the challenges of the upcoming season.
