Jordan Ayew and Elisha Owusu have officially joined their Black Stars teammates in camp as Ghana prepares for crucial qualifiers against Angola and Niger for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The duo arrived in Accra on Tuesday night and made their way to Kumasi on Wednesday morning to meet up with the squad.
The Black Stars are gearing up for their opening match against Angola on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ayew and Elisha Owusu are expected to participate in the team’s final training session later today, ensuring they are ready for the important fixture.
Prior to their arrival, the Black Stars held a second training session on Tuesday, with 22 players participating as they intensified preparations for the upcoming matches.

After facing Angola in Ghana, the Black Stars will travel to Berkane, Morocco, to take on Niger in their second Group F match on Monday, September 9.
The team will be aiming to enhance their chances of qualifying for the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco with two wins in their opening fixtures.
