Japheth Norvienyo joins FC Samartex

Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex have completed the transfer of goalkeeper Japheth Norvienyo.

The club announced this morning that they are elated to get Norvienyo to put pen to paper for the club from Nations Football Club.

” The ‘Regal Giant’ from the Volta region, Japheth Norvienyo, has joined us on a three-year deal. The agile shot-stopper’s recent exploits were with Nations FC, where he featured in 14 games in the just-ended season. His acquisition strengthens our goalkeeping department.” The club wrote.

Japheth conceded 13 goals and kept six clean sheet for Nations FC last season. As Samartex prepare for their CAF Champions league campaign, Japheth Norvienyo will improve the team.

Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex 1996, have been drawn against Cameroonian side Victoria United FC in the preliminary round of the 2024-25 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
