Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams was in sensational form as Athletic Club cruised to a 4-1 victory over Espanyol in La Liga on Saturday.

The 29-year-old netted a brace in the 28th and 29th minutes to give Athletic a commanding 3-0 lead, with Dani Vivian having opened the scoring earlier in the sixth minute.

Álex Berenguer added a fourth goal for Athletic in the 55th minute, before Espanyol pulled one back through Álvaro Tejero in the 92nd minute. However, it was too little too late for the visitors, as Athletic secured a comfortable win.

The victory moved Athletic up to fourth in the La Liga table with 17 points from 10 matches. They now turn their attention to the Europa League, where they face Slavia Praha on October 24.

Inaki Williams has been in impressive form for Athletic this season, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 11 matches across all competitions.
