Accra Great Olympics have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League after the last round of games this weekend. They finished 16th on the league table with 44 points at the end of the season.
The Oly Dade Boys did not kick a ball in week 34 of the league as a result of Real Tamale United not showing up for the match.
In view of that, Olympics were awarded with three points and three goals. However, the Accra-based team have been relegated.
Results from other league centres did not favour the team as they will ply their trade in the Division One league next season.
Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Bechem United 3-2 while Karela United picked up the needed points for their survival.
This means Great Olympics join Real Tamale United and Bofoakwa Tano as the teams relegated from the Ghana Premier League for the 2023/24 season.
