Ghanaian fans expressed their frustration by throwing bottles onto the pitch following the Black Stars’ 1-0 defeat to Angola in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The loss, which came from a late goal in the 93rd minute by Angola’s Felício Milson, ended Ghana’s long-standing unbeaten record at home in Kumasi.
The home crowd was left fuming as the poor condition of the pitch further compounded their frustrations, with many fans already voicing concerns about its impact on player performance.

Despite dominating possession throughout the match, Ghana struggled to create clear scoring opportunities, with key players Jordan Ayew and Mohammed Kudus having their efforts blocked.
