Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman embraces positional versatility at Brighton

Ghana forward Ibrahim Osman believes his ability to play multiple positions will be a significant advantage as he begins preseason training with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Osman was unveiled as the newest addition to the Seagulls squad last week, marking an exciting new chapter for the 19-year-old.

Although his transfer to Brighton was finalized in January, he completed the season with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark before joining his new team for preseason preparations.

Following in the footsteps of fellow Ghanaian talents Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who also graduated from the renowned Right to Dream Academy, Osman is determined to make his mark in English football.

“My focus is to try and learn as much as possible in this squad and also with the older guys here to try and learn from them. And also I know myself, I don’t depend on one position. I can play as a right winger, up front, and on the left wing, so I’m happy I can play all these positions,” Osman stated.

“I like all. I can play all, which is an advantage for me too,” he added.

Osman’s versatility and eagerness to learn from his new teammates bode well for his integration into the squad. As Brighton prepares for the upcoming season, the young forward’s adaptability will be a valuable asset for the team.
