Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna has signed a three-year contract with Cypriot giants APOEL FC, extending his stay until May 2027.
The announcement was made through the club’s official social media channels, where they expressed enthusiasm about their new signing.
Abagna, who had an impressive stint with Moldovan champions FC Petrocub last season, scored four goals in 10 league appearances.
His performances have earned him a move to one of Cyprus’s most prestigious football clubs.
APOEL FC’s statement read: “APOEL FC is pleased to announce the agreement with Al-Hilal for the footballer David Abagna. The agreement with the footballer is for three years, until May 2027. David Abagna, born on September 9, 1998, is versatile in all central axis positions.”

The statement continued: “He comes from Ghana and is an international with the Men’s national team. We welcome David Abagna to APOEL and wish him success in celebrating titles and achieving European success while wearing the blue and yellow jersey.”
