Ghanaian Combat Fighter Gerald Dah Wins Muay Thai Title

Ghanaian Combat fighter Gerald Dah, based in Malaysia, triumphed over Afghanistan’s Nawid Bakhshi on June 1 in the 70 kg division at the 2024 Malaysia International Muay Thai Championship. The match took place at Dataran Warisan Taiping in Perak.

Elated Dah who won by a unanimous decision said it is a dream come true to add to his collection.

“Now I can sleep well and hope the sports journalists in Ghana and Africa will see and recognize our efforts in raising our national flags in far places” he said.

Gerald Dah who has been fighting in big rings and championships prayed that the Ghana Kick Boxing and Muay Thai Federations will work hard to promote more Ghanaian athletes.

He thanked Yours Truly and all sports journalists including Prince Dornu -Leiku who have been deeply following Boxing and other Combat Sports.
