Ghana Stumbles Against Angola in AFCON 2025 Qualifier

Ghana suffered a heartbreaking defeat in their opening fixture of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers.

Angola secured a narrow 1-0 win over the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5.

Milson, the Angolan forward, proved to be the match-winner, netting the decisive goal in the 94th minute. His strike sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian crowd and left the home team’s supporters stunned.

The Black Stars will now have to regroup and focus on their upcoming match against Niger on September 9.
