Ghana international Forson Amankwah is on the verge of joining Norwich City from Red Bull Salzburg in a deal reportedly close to being finalized.
Recent reports suggest that Norwich City have agreed on terms to sign the 21-year-old Amankwah on a long-term contract. The transfer is expected to be completed before the summer window closes, with Amankwah set to sign a four-year deal with the English Championship side.
Amankwah began his European journey in 2021 when he joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ghana’s West African Football Academy. He spent his initial seasons out on loan at Liefering and Rheindorf Altach before making his first-team debut for Salzburg last season.
During that campaign, he featured 27 times across all competitions and made his debut in the UEFA Champions League.
