FC Samartex 1996 are champions of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season after beating Bibiani Goldstars.
Samartex defeated Bibiani Goldstars 1-0 in week 32 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nsenkyire sports arena with just two games to end the season.
The Samreboi-based club are only featuring in Ghana’s top tier league for the second season and have won the prestigious trophy for the first time in the history of the club.
With just two games to end the season, FC Samartex currently have 58 points on the league log. Meanwhile, former champions Aduana Stars and defending champions Medeama Sporting Club who were in contention to win the trophy lost their game to Bechem United and Hearts of Lions respectively; making it impossible for them to catch Samartex with just two games left.
FC Samartex will play against Karela United and Accra Lions in the remaining fixtures of the season.
