Former Black Stars assistant coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani believes that Mohammed Kudus will unlikely remain at West Ham United for long, citing the player’s ambition and drive as key factors.
Dramani, who has a deep understanding of Kudus’ career trajectory from their time together at the Right to Dream Academy and FC Nordsjaelland, has seen firsthand the potential that Kudus possesses.
After stints at Ajax and now West Ham United, the 23-year-old forward has continued to impress.
Kudus made a significant impact in his first season with West Ham United, netting 14 goals and providing six assists.
His performance has also been outstanding in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where he played a crucial role in Ghana’s victories over Mali and the Central African Republic. Kudus was instrumental in the Black Stars’ 2-1 win against Mali in Bamako and their thrilling 4-3 triumph over the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Didi Dramani expressed his high expectations for Kudus, predicting a move to a top-tier club shortly.
“It’s more challenging going into the second season. He is more motivated to give him more and more focused to do more,” Dramani told Asempa FM in an interview monitored by footballghana.com. “It’s not West Ham that he wants to be at in the near future; he is very ambitious. I will not be surprised if he’s signing for one of the big clubs in the world.”
With his continued impressive performances, it seems likely that Kudus’ ambitions may indeed lead him to one of the world’s top clubs soon.
