Denis Odoi: 36-year-old Ghana defender joins Royal Antwerp

Ghana defender Denis Odoi has completed his move to Belgian top-flight side Royal Antwerp on a free transfer from rivals Club Brugge.

The 36-year-old, known for his experience and versatility, has signed a two-year contract with Antwerp.

Odoi, who made 39 appearances for Brugge last season, scoring three goals, joins Antwerp after a successful stint with Club Brugge.

Before his time at Brugge, Denis Odoi spent over five years at English side Fulham FC, joining them from KSC Lokeren in 2016.

Royal Antwerp FC announced his signing, highlighting the significant boost his arrival brings to their young dressing room. The club’s management expressed excitement about securing Odoi’s services, emphasising his leadership and expertise as key assets for the team.
