In a stunning turn of events, Daniel Dubois dismantled fellow Briton Anthony Joshua in five rounds, seizing global attention in front of 96,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.
The 27-year-old Dubois dropped Joshua multiple times en route to retaining his IBF heavyweight title, delivering a crushing blow to his rival’s hopes of reclaiming heavyweight glory.
Dubois, now with 24 fights under his belt, ended the bout with a powerful counter right hook, cementing his place at the top of the heavyweight division.
“Are you not entertained?” he roared to the crowd post-fight, as cheers erupted around the packed stadium. “I’m a gladiator. I am a warrior to the bitter end.”
Joshua, 34, who aimed to become a three-time heavyweight champion, suffered his fourth career defeat, and his future in boxing remains uncertain.

However, he hinted at a potential rematch, citing a clause in the contract. “I’m a fighter for life,” Joshua stated. “You keep rolling the dice.”
For Dubois, this victory marked the crowning achievement he had long sought, especially after being elevated to world champion when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt.
