Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has committed his future to the club by signing a two-year contract extension, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2033.
Palmer, 22, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City on September 1, 2023, has enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough season with the Blues. His impressive performance saw him contribute to 33 goals, including 22 of his own.
Throughout the season, Palmer registered 25 goals and 15 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
The new terms reward Palmer for his exceptional form and secure his place at Chelsea for the long term. His transfer from Manchester City was initially valued at £40 million, with an additional £2.5 million in potential add-ons.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca now faces a decision on whether to start Palmer in the opening Premier League match against his former club, Manchester City, this Sunday. Palmer only returned to Chelsea last week after a short break following his Euro 2024 campaign, where he scored in the final.
Maresca has already utilized Palmer as a substitute in the recent 1-1 friendly draw with Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge. Following the match against City, Chelsea will face either Servette or Braga in the UEFA Conference League play-off just four days later.
This contract extension is part of a busy summer for Chelsea, as they continue to strengthen their squad under Maresca’s new regime. The club is building one of the largest Premier League squads ever assembled, with more new signings expected before the transfer window closes.
