Coventry City have confirmed the signing of 25-year-old striker Brandon Thomas-Asante from West Bromwich Albion.
The Black Stars forward has penned a four-year deal with the Sky Blues, with the transfer fee undisclosed.
Thomas-Asante began his professional career with Milton Keynes Dons, making his debut in 2016 at the age of 17. After loan spells with Sutton United and Oxford City, he left MK Dons in 2019 having made 35 appearances. His journey continued with a brief stint at Ebsfleet United before joining Salford City in League Two, where he made a significant impact by scoring 30 goals in 126 appearances and winning the EFL Trophy.
His impressive performances at Salford earned him a move to West Bromwich Albion at the start of the 2022/23 Championship season.
At West Brom, Thomas-Asante emerged as a key player, finishing as the top goalscorer in both of his seasons with the club, netting 9 goals in the 2022/23 season and 12 in the 2023/24 season. Over his tenure at the Hawthorns, he featured in 78 matches.
