Bournemouth are considering a move for English-born Ghanaian striker Eddie Nketiah as a potential replacement for Dominic Solanke, who recently signed with Tottenham Hotspur.
Solanke’s departure has left a gap in Bournemouth’s attacking lineup, prompting the club to seek reinforcements.
Nketiah, 25, has been a subject of transfer interest from several clubs this summer, including French side Marseille.
Initially, Arsenal had set a €35 million price tag for the forward, but talks with Marseille faltered when the club couldn’t meet the asking price, even though Nketiah was willing to lower his wages to facilitate the move.

As Marseille explores other options like Youssoufa Moukoko and Elye Wahi, Arsenal has reduced their asking price to €30 million for a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Marseille’s interest remains around €25 million, potentially opening a window for Bournemouth to make a move for Nketiah.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has suggested that Nketiah might remain with the club, but Bournemouth could seize the opportunity to bolster their attack with the forward, whose current market value stands at €30 million according to Transfermarkt.
