Black Stars gaffer, Otto Addo believes the young players in the Black Stars squad will need time to grow and make the right decisions.
His comments comes on the back of Ghana’s win over the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifying game played in Kumasi.
However, Ghanaians have criticized the performance and output of some players in the squad especially in the first half of the game.
Speaking to the media after the game, Otto Addo, the former Dortmund staff is optimistic the young players will adapt well if Ghanaians are patient.
“I hope that Ghanaians give us time. It’s always difficult because after this, the guys will be on a break and then coached with different ideas, and then I will come with different ideas too,” Otto Addo stated.
“It’s always challenging as I have to analyze our opponents and find the best solutions. Our approach to the next game will also be shaped by how our opponents play.
“The players are very young, but they will grow and learn to adapt. They will recognize the right situations and make the right decisions with time,” Addo added.
Ghana are currently on top of Group I with 9 points after four games.
