Hearts of Lions gaffer, Bashiru Hayford says Maxwell’s Konadu’s decision to leave Nsoatreman Football Club is a good decision.
Maxwell has joined South African side Black Leopards as the head coach on a three-year deal. He has been tasked to promote the team to the top tier division.
Before leaving Nsoatreman FC, Maxwell Konadu won the MTN FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history and will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.

However, speaking to Onua TV, Bashiru Hayford says Maxwell Konadu took the best decision for himself.
“Some decisions are personal and sometimes you consider many things. Because this is the time our sports administrators and club owners must make sure they have little respect for coaches [and] their contractual obligations. I don’t know what happened but it is a job opportunity and he also wants to try his luck outside. He knows what he wants.” He said.
