Barcelona has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign Spain international Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig this summer.
The deal includes €55 million (£46 million) upfront and €7 million (£5 million) in add-ons, meeting the conditions set by Leipzig.
A formal bid is expected soon to finalize the transfer. Barcelona’s sporting director Deco flew to Germany to hold talks with Leipzig, leading to this agreement.
Olmo, who starred in Euro 2024 by scoring three goals and assisting two as Spain won the trophy, will return to Camp Nou after a decade.
The 26-year-old graduated from La Masia in 2014 but never played for Barcelona’s senior team. After stints at Dinamo Zagreb and RB Leipzig, he is now set to sign a six-year contract with Barcelona, valid until 2030.
