Ghana Premier League club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have mutually parted ways with defender, Mohammed Nurudeen.
The club announced in an official communication that the center-back who signed a three-year-deal with the club have decided to focus on his nursing career despite attempts by the club to convince him.
“The club entered into a three-year employment agreement with Nurudeen before the commencement of the 2023/24 football season. However, management notes that Nurudeen also has a contract with the Ghana Health Service as a practicing enrolled nurse. The club explored all possible options to convince him to focus on his football career, but Nurudeen remained committed to his career in nursing.”
The club added that there wont be any financial penalties on the club for the termination of the contract.
“The IMC would like to assure our supporters that the club will not suffer any financial or sporting penalties due to this decision and wishes Nurudeen the best for the future.”
The 31 years old player featured in 30 games for the Porcupine Warriors in the Ghana Premier League last season.
