Antoine Semenyo scores against Arsenal in pre-season friendly

Black Stars forward, Antoine Semenyo was on the score sheet for AFC Bournemouth in their friendly game against fellow Premier League side Arsenal.

Arsenal took the lead in the game that was played in the USA kind courtesy Portuguese midfielder Fabio Viera in the first half.

Antoine Semenyo came off the bench to replace Marcus Tarvenier at the start of the second half. The former Bristol City player’s left-footed shot beat Arsenal goalkeeper Hein to get the equaliser for the Cherries.

However, Arsenal won the game 5-4 on penalties after Ryan Christie missed his kick for Bournemouth.

Ghana’s Thomas Partey also featured for Arsenal until he was substituted and replaced by Jorgihno in the 62nd minute.
