Teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri made a stunning impact, scoring twice in Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over League One side Bolton to secure their place in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
The 17-year-old, making his first senior start for the Gunners, netted his first goal by slotting into an empty net from Raheem Sterling’s cross. Nwaneri added a second after capitalizing on Bolton’s defensive mistake, collecting a pass from Declan Rice and calmly finishing under goalkeeper Luke Southwood.
Ethan Nwaneri had earlier contributed to Arsenal’s opener, delivering a dangerous cross that led to Declan Rice’s clinical finish after Scott Arfield’s clearance error.

Bolton’s Aaron Collins pulled one back with a well-executed counter-attack, denying 16-year-old Arsenal goalkeeper Jack Porter a clean sheet on his senior debut. Porter, the youngest player to start a first-team game for Arsenal, broke Cesc Fabregas’ record set in 2003.
Arsenal will face Preston in the fourth round at Deepdale.
