Ghanaian journalist Rahman Osman has publicly voiced his disappointment with West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus after the player allegedly ignored him following the team’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League on September 21.
Osman, who works for the London World News website, took to Facebook to share his experience. “After the game, I went to try and speak to Mohammed Kudus. When he came out, I shouted Kudus, Kudus, even added ‘bro’ to see if he’ll think I’m a human being,” Osman wrote. “I swear everyone in the hall heard me shouting Kudus and turned to look at me, but only Kudus pretended he never heard and walked away.”
The UK-based Journalist contrasted Kudus’s behaviour with that of his West Ham teammate, Tosin Adarabioyo, who took the time to speak with journalists after the match. While Osman expressed his admiration for Kudus as a player, he was disappointed by his lack of acknowledgment.
“It would have been nice if he just acknowledged and said ‘naaa mate, not today,'” Osman wrote. “But we move. If not for anything at least we all be Ghana Zongo boys. But we move.” referring to their shared Ghanaian heritage.

The defeat to Chelsea has dropped West Ham to 14th position in the Premier League table with just 4 points from 5 matches. The former Ajax forward has been a regular starter for the Hammers this season, featuring in all 5 league games.
While Osman’s post has sparked discussions among Ghanaian football fans, Kudus has yet to respond publicly to the allegations. It remains to be seen how the West Ham midfielder will address the situation and whether the incident will have any impact on his relationship with the Ghanaian media.
