Endrick becomes Real Madrid’s youngest Champions League goalscorer

Real Madrid secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory against Stuttgart in the Champions League, with Brazilian starlet Endrick Felipe making history as the club’s youngest goalscorer in the competition.

At just 18 years and 58 days old, Endrick broke the previous record set by club legend Raul in 1995, who scored at 18 years and 113 days.

Endrick Felipe, who joined Los Blancos this summer from Palmeiras, had already become the youngest player to score on his La Liga debut for the club earlier this season. Coming on as a substitute for Jude Bellingham in the 80th minute, he sealed Madrid’s victory with a composed finish in stoppage time.

Kylian Mbappe, making his Champions League debut for Real Madrid, opened the scoring just 20 seconds into the second half. Aurelien Tchouameni’s sweeping pass found Rodrygo, who set up Mbappe for an easy tap-in.

Stuttgart responded with an equalizer in the 68th minute when former Brighton forward Deniz Undav expertly headed the ball into the net.

Real Madrid retook the lead in the 83rd minute through a powerful header by Antonio Rudiger. Despite Stuttgart’s earlier dominance, which included missed one-on-one opportunities and hitting the crossbar, Madrid’s quality shone through in the end.

With this win, Real Madrid now turns their attention to their upcoming match against Lille, while Stuttgart will face Sparta Prague in their next fixture.
